Sandalwood diffuser oils

Sandalwood is the base note that makes a room feel finished. In a diffuser oil it reads as soft, creamy and slightly milky wood, warmer than cedar and quieter than oud, and it does its work late: long after the citrus opening of a composition has lifted, sandalwood is what the room still holds.

That behaviour is why it appears in fourteen ISCENT fragrances. In Velvet Serenity and Noire Vanille it sits under vanilla and musk for bedrooms and winter evenings. As a diffuser oil, sandalwood-led compositions suit the rooms people settle into: living rooms, studies, bedrooms in the cooler months. Cold-air diffusion carries the wood as a dry mist, with no water and no heat, so the creamy character stays intact rather than being flattened by warming. A 100 ml bottle in the Ensō lasts about three weeks to a month at roughly eight hours a day, and sandalwood-heavy blends are the ones that reward short, timed sessions: the base lingers in soft furnishings between runs.
